Smoking Policy

Smoking is not allowed inside the inn or inside the venue spaces. There are designated smoking areas where smoking is allowed.

Right to Serve

We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone, with respect for our staffs' safety, happiness, and well-being.

How many wedding guests can we accommodate?

We can comfortably host up to 125 guests at the Squire Tarbox Inn.

Do you allow children?

We gladly welcome well-behaved children! Most of our rooms, with the exception of room 7, are only able to accommodate a total of two guests max. Up to 4 guests can be accommodated in room 7 but we ask that the children are age appropriate to climb a ladder into a loft space.

What if I need to check-in early or late?

Our check-in window is anytime after 3:00 pm. We will text you the day of your stay with our guest guide and to confirm your ETA. We offer self check in and our guide provides detailed directions to your room, as well as answers to any questions you may have!

Are you dog friendly?

We are dog friendly and want our guests to enjoy the company of their well-behaved dog while on vacation! Not all of our rooms accommodate pets. The Polly, The Mittman, The Eleanor, The Roni, and The Mario are pet friendly rooms.

What is your cancellation policy?

Being a small inn, we are greatly affected by cancellations, and while we are sympathetic to emergencies, we appreciate your understanding of our cancellation policy. We require notice of 14 days prior to your stay in order for your deposit to be refunded. Cancellations made with less than a 14 day notice will be charged the full amount of your room cost. All cancellations are subject to a $35 handling fee when charged on a credit card, no exceptions.

We need to do some work, do you have WiFi?

Yes, we do have WiFi, but due to being on an island in Maine, we often find that our WiFi signal doesn't come through all the time. We have added several Nodes to the inn to assist with WiFi. Most people are able to get work done while here.
