We gladly welcome well-behaved children! Most of our rooms, with the exception of room 7, are only able to accommodate a total of two guests max. Up to 4 guests can be accommodated in room 7 but we ask that the children are age appropriate to climb a ladder into a loft space.
Anchoring the line of buildings that make up the Tarbox Inn is the federal style homestead built by Samuel Tarbox ca. 1825. An expansion soon after at the back of the house served as the kitchen until 1956. The oldest part of the house is the 1763 ell, which was originally situated on a hill to the north of the property.
We are dog friendly and want our guests to enjoy the company of their well-behaved dog while on vacation! Not all of our rooms accommodate pets. The Polly, The Mittman, The Eleanor, The Roni, and The Mario are pet friendly rooms.
The venue includes access to our 12-acre property including the event barn and deck, adjacent lawn and pasture overlooking the pond, bathroom facilities and some parking from Friday to Sunday.
