At this time we do not have a restaurant at the inn, however, there are several local restaurants we think you’ll love! We've provided a list of local recommendations in our local guide. Be sure to check out our events page for pop-up dinners and our summer pizza night schedule.
We are dog friendly and want our guests to enjoy the company of their well-behaved dog while on vacation! Not all of our rooms accommodate pets. The Polly, The Mittman, The Eleanor, The Roni, and The Mario are pet friendly rooms.
Anchoring the line of buildings that make up the Tarbox Inn is the federal style homestead built by Samuel Tarbox ca. 1825. An expansion soon after at the back of the house served as the kitchen until 1956. The oldest part of the house is the 1763 ell, which was originally situated on a hill to the north of the property.
The event barn comes with a built-in bar, lounge furniture and several antique tables. In addition, we have ten 6' custom wood tables available for rent along with an eclectic assortment of wood chairs. For all other rental items, we recommend connecting with one of our preferred vendors.
We highly recommend you book a wedding planner to help with logistics, however, we do not require one. We do require that you book a day-of coordinator.
We have curated a preferred vendors list for you to use as a planning tool. It is not required that you book the preferred vendors but we do require approval of any vendors not on the list. All vendors must be licensed and insured.
