Fort Edgecomb State Historic Site

Located on Davis Island in the Sheepscott River, Fort Edgecomb traces its origins to the early 19th century. We had a fabulous time at the Squire Tarbox Inn. Gorgeous picturesque setting, comfortable and cozy sleeping quarters, rustic and elegant common areas and our delicious quiche and scones, were all amazing touches that made us feel special during our stay. We had the Mary Margaret room and it was so beautifully put together with the fluffiest pillows and softest sheets. The shower was nice and hot and the air conditioning was nice and cool! The grounds were beautiful and natural and the chickens and goats were adorable. The staff were all pleasant and professional. We I'll be recommending this magical place to others.
