MidCoast Maine dining at it’s best. Our gourmet dining farm-to-table country style restaurant is located between Bath and Brunswick, and Wiscasset and Boothbay Harbor. in MidCoast Maine. In April, May, November & December this unique MidCoast Maine, Fine Dining Restaurant is open on Thursday, Friday & Saturday. During those times Thursday is our Swiss night theme. For our guests lodging with us, dinner is served every day, except Tuesdays, upon prior request during those months. Private parties of 8 or more will be accepted any day except Tuesdays with a 48 hour or more advance notice. Come and enjoy fine dining in a country setting. Enjoy our organic produce grown on our own small farm & the Tarbox Farm We do Pizza Night on Mondays. Pizzas are made with your choice from many toppings and fired in our outside earthen oven. We also have gluten free crust. Starting Memorial Weekend through to the mid October we are open 6 days a week & have a full à la carte menu with specials every night. Our MidCoast Maine area restaurant will be closed on Tuesdays throughout the season. If you are coming to stay with us please call us by 2.30pm latest, on your arrival day, to ensure that there is space in our dining room. **Reservations are required**

Mario De Pietro, our Swiss chef/owner has over 30 years of culinary experience behind him – from working as a pastry chef at the Four Seasons’ New York, to managing the world famous restaurants at Rockefeller Center – and now brings his expertise, professionalism and genuine passion for food to the restaurant at the Squire Tarbox Inn…….. The Dining Area
Everyone knows that a good Country Inn must be “tasted”… The Main dining room – situated in the original summer kitchen of the 1763 part of the Inn – is small, and the pace leisurely, in order to ensure excellence of cuisine and personal service. During the warm summer months we also serve dinners out on the screened-in deck overlooking the gardens, while in the fall and winter we expand to use our small upper dining room. Both dining rooms feature wood-burning fires, creating a warm and cozy atmosphere on cool nights, in which to enjoy your meal.
We have “Pizza Night” between 5.30 & 7.30 every Monday night during the summer. Made right out of the earthen oven, pizzas don’t get any fresher or tastier than this. Call and reserve your custom made pizza to-go or sit on the deck, or in the front garden, and enjoy it here at the inn.
Join us for our Swiss nights in April & May, & again in the fall, every Thursday with such dishes as Cheese Fondue & Raclette. Born and raised in Switzerland, Mario will make a fine, authentic Swiss meal you are sure to enjoy.
