1. Downhill Skiing at Camden Snow Bowl

The Snow Bowl has that friendly small-town feel, and with nearly 1,000 feet of vertical elevation and more than 20 recently expanded runs, its pretty impressive as a seacoast ski resort. Nestled among picturesque harbors, charming inns and award-winning restaurants, it is also the only ski area on the East Coast with ocean views.

Join Costal Maine Botanical Gardens to experience the brilliance of New England’s biggest and brightest light display! With over 650,000 lights, witness the transformation of our central gardens into an extravaganza of festive lights in a dramatic display of brilliant color. This year, we’re taking our dramatic display to new heights, incorporating—for the first time—our magnificent sculpture exhibit, Unearthed, by artist Steve Tobin. November 14-December 31, 2019, Thursday-Sunday, 4-9 p.m. Open Daily December 19-31. Closed Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve.

If you are looking for a magical place in ME, isolated enough to feel like you have complete privacy, but close enough to everything, you must visit the Squire Tarbox Inn. This beautifully restored 1763 farmhouse is a dream. The rooms are all meticulously renovated to have all the modern comforts with a laid back feel. And as a bonus, they have goats, chickens and a trail that takes you down to the most peaceful salt marsh.
