There are so many activities and places of interest around our Inn/Bed & Breakfast in Midcoast Maine, almost all within a pleasant 15 minute to 1 hour drive of the Inn.
Check out shopping in Freeport; Bowdoin College and their theatre and art gallery in Brunswick as well as plenty of good restaurants; The City of Ships, Bath, with their cute shops and restaurants; Wiscasset, “the prettiest village in Maine” with antique shops, Winters Gone – an alpaca farm, the famous Reds Eats and Treats; Damariscotta, a cute small harbor town with boutiques and restaurants and then head down to Pemaquid Point and New Harbor from there; Boothbay & Boothbay Harbor, a bustling town with a ferry to Monhegan Island and boat trips galore. Lastly you have Camden, Rockland & Rockport.
Take a fun ride on the old Maine Eastern train from Brunswick to Rockland.
