 A place to stay in Midcoast Maine is The Squire Tarbox Inn, a country B & B, what better way is there to relax than to dine with us in the evening end enjoy our small and intimate fine dining restaurant? The Squire Tarbox Inn, a country bed & breakfast and Maine Historical Inn, has been given a 4 star rating. Reservations are required. Our comfortable and well-appointed rooms each have beds with a posturpedic mattress and a private bath with shower. For our overnight guests a full breakfast is served buffet-style, anytime between 8:00 and 9:15 a.m. Help yourself to: fresh fruits, a choice of juices, homemade granolas, Swiss style Muesli, homemade croissants and muffins, breads and rolls, freshly brewed coffees, varieties of tea ...and more. Then order your hot breakfast from the kitchen choosing from french toast that has been soaked in an orange & Grand Marniere mix, or fresh farm raised eggs cooked to order. Both are served with bacon or sausages. Enjoy your breakfast out on the sunny screened-in deck off the dining room, while watching birds at the feeders outside; or just relax and chat to the other guests in the main dining room.   We now have a public boat ramp here on Westport Island. Plenty of parking for cars and trailers. There are also floats from where you can put your kayaks in the water. So now you can spend a few days here at the Inn and go out and explore the Midcoast Maine areas from the water. At the same time the Inn has plenty of space to keep your boat or kayaks while doing a day of land sightseeing. 45 minutes to Reid Sate Park on Georgetown & Popham Beach in Phippsburgh. Just a short ride of 15 minutes into the centre of Wiscasset Village known as the "Prettiest Village in Maine". For your convenience, a wireless connection for your computer is available at our Maine Wiscasset Inn. Dress is informal and relaxed and the needs of non-smokers respected. (Smoking is limited to outdoors & away from the Inn). Animal lovers can enjoy the goats, chickens, dogs, cats, birds and wild life. We have a few rooms in which we accept dogs. There is a one time charge of $15 per stay.         |
